On every Carnival cruise, the cruise director hosts a Military Appreciation Gathering for military members, veterans, and any other guests who want to attend. You won’t go hungry aboard this ship; we found everything delicious. We really enjoyed the sizeable adults-only Serenity deck that now has its own pool. If you want a more exclusive experience, you can get a pass to the LOFT 19 area that includes padded loungers and access to the infinity whirlpool and attentive servers.

Out on the pool deck, cruisers can enjoy boat drinks and vacation libations at the RedFrog Tiki Bar. This bar mixes up a range of custom sangrias and wine-infused cocktails, perfect for sipping in the sun while enjoying this adults-only space on Carnival Jubilee. I knew there was a reason I was drawn to the Center Stage Bar on Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Cruise Line's newest ship and the third in the Excel Class. The bar — along with several other dining venues and the onboard shops — wasn't open during my two-night sailing prior to the ship's first voyage with paying passengers.

This was my first visit to Rudi’s Seagrill and I enjoyed the superb seafood and other items we chose. It has a very high-end experience feel, and I would consider it for a romantic dinner during your cruise. Lastly, the balcony offered adequate space with two chairs and a table. It was the ideal spot to watch sail away from ports of call or to do some work in the afternoon. Unlike some cruise lines, the chairs did not have ottomans to go along with them. Adults looking to escape the kids and families have the Serenity retreat found on Deck 18 forward.
